Yes yes, I tried the search.
Can anyone recommend some names of decent, non-drowsy allergy medication? I'm not looking for a prescription, just something over the counter. It's actually for my roommate. I have some benadryl, and that's fine at night, but not for working during the day.
Thanks in advance.. |

| You can get Allegra, Claritin, Zyrtec, etc. here. Just go to the doctor and ask for it. Demand a month's worth at least. |

| Thank you very much, but what I'm actually looking for is something over-the-counter. We're both students, so without health insurance going to the actual doctor can be pricey. I'm hoping there's something available at the pharmacy - any suggestions would be great. |

I got this stuff called Seasonal which says it's an anti-allergics pill on the box. Worked well for me when I was having an allergic reaction to some bug bites I'd gotten this summer. I wanted benadryl but was unable to find any in the country, and this was recommended to me and it worked. As far as I can remember it wasn't drowsy, so it should be fine.
The pronunciation is kind of like "she-juh-nal" (sorry for the bad interpretation here but I don't have Korean on my keyboard). It wasn't expensive - shouldn't be more than about 3000 won at MOST.
Hope this helped.

| Zirtek can also be bought over the counter and it is marketed as being non drowsy. |

Give it a try, but it's not non-drowsy for me. |
