A New Zealander dies and goes to Heaven.

As he stands in front of St Peter at the Pearly Gates, he sees a huge
wall of clocks behind him.

"What are all those clocks?" he asks.

St Peter answers, "Those are lie-clocks. Everyone on earth has a lie-clock. Every time you lie, the hands on your clock will move."

"Oh," says the man. "Whose clock is that?"

"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that
she never told a lie."

"Incredible," says the man. "And whose clock is that one?"

St Peter responds: "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have
moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire
life."

"Amazing" says the man. "Where's Helen Clark's lie-clock?"

"Helen Clark's clock is in Jesus' office, " St Peter says. "He's
using it as a ceiling fan."

Jokes are usually most funny when they have a ring of truth about them. So this joke would be much better using Don Brash, a man who's been totally busted as a corrupt politician...

Heh heh, Yeah Brash got pretty pwned this week. Good ridance to bad economists. (Well actually he was a pretty good economist. Should have stuck with it)

Right, he should have stuck with being an economist. My dad knows Nicky Hagar, the guy who wrote the book that busted him...

That's exactly what I was thinking when I got the joke in an email. I didn't have time to edit it while posting it, before I went to class. The person who send it to me must be anti-labour or something. Like you mentioned in another thread Satori. 'NZ is doing well with a Labour government.' I agree with you there. My family back home are better off these days.

Oh God no!!!

A guy at uni sitting next to me on the fourth floor balcony of the library one lunchtime told me he was in the young nationals!! At the time Winston Peters was on campus talking and getting heckled a lot. I just didn't know what to say. Shocked
