I know that this sounds strange, but I would like to know which is the nationality of the majority in this forum, and if they could tell me something about their countries and cultures and what they know about Argentina.

I see that this topic isnt the most popular, but I would like to know more about the places where you live.
Argentina is not only football, but thats the stereotype we have.
Ill wait for your answer.

no Laughing the stereotype i have about argentina is a land with a beautiful tropical rainforest, some of the most phenomenal cascades in the world, a hot climate and amazing remains of the inka cultures.

i don't care much about football/soccer Wink

When you apply to join the ESL Cafe you are asked to state where you are from and what you do.

Very few people give this information.

For example, Asterix says nothing. Bud says he is is the US, and that's all.

Why is Dave so slack about this? Why bother to ask the questions?

asterix is from canada as far as i understood him. he only didn't write it in his profile.

sometimes i think too, i should erase my "location" because at the moment there are especially in the "current news" ~political discussions some "hints" like for example "and what has germany done in the ww2" or whatever.. i'm really sick of this, i mean, i'm german, but i'm not responsible for what my gouvernment does or has done. sometimes it sounds like this..
