Why don't people in China believe the positive reports from Chinese state media?
Recently a journalist in China worte a news in which he praised a chief of communist party in a county, the results is that crowded field of Internet users in China threw stones at him and considered him of kiss-ass.
We don't exactly know whether this journalist is a decent reporter or not,but this circumstance prove that most people in China haven't trusted the positive reports from Chinese state media for a long time.
The reason why people in China don't believe the positive reports from state media is that Chinese media have lost their principle of being fairness ,independent and rightness,Chinese communist government has lost its trust from most of people in China, suspicion has dominated entire Chinese society.
So Chinese communist government has taken its own drugs now,Chinese state media have made up a lot of fake positive reports for a long time ,most people in China don't trust these kinds of reports any more, the interesting thing is that when there are some negative reports or rumors people in China begin to believe in them now.
How do China recover from this terrible trust crisis?the only means is that Chinse communist government has to give up its total control of all media in China, abandon the media's role of being mouthpiece of Chinese communist party, news media have to become independent media in China,if so ,people in China may restore the trust someday in the future. |

I totally disagree with this hostile view-point toward our Chinese people!
It has no any concrete base, I suppose. _________________ Practice made every effort perfect |

What evidences do you want ?
Do China have freedom of speech and press?
Doesn't Chinese communist government control all media in China?
Doesn't CCTV fool Chinese people?
You have the rights not to agree with me on this issue, but could you give me fact to prove me wrong?please don't just shout out some slogans like red guard in the time of Culture Revolution. |

When a government does not follow its own laws (constitution), it is pretty difficult for its citizens to trust it. Oh yes, it is true for any other country.
Quote: |
Article 35. Freedom of speech, press, assembly
Citizens of the People's Republic of China enjoy freedom of speech, of the press, of assembly, of association, of procession and of demonstration.
- Constitution of the People's Republic of China |
Quote: |
Article 5. Constitutional supremacy
...
All state organs, the armed forces, all political parties and public organizations and all enterprises and institutions must abide by the Constitution and the law.

The real thing can only be found in the reality, and not in bare papers. You can interpret a paper in one way, or in any way else.
I'm a Chinese and I'm feeling very happy in China. (ok, the polution is not that good in some areas...) But I am happy and I don't have any relatives who don't feel happy in China.
I think I have many rights in China, exept of looking at some foreign porn sites. So I think it's not important what bare papers say, (if they really say such things like you quoted) it's important what you can find in reality.
China has a very good economy and all foreign countries like in Europe or America are profiting from this economy. In China you have a lot of freedom to do, you can build up an own store, just on tzhe street, without so many papers and bureaucracy from the government, like what is in e.g. Germany.
Just look at America, they claim that they are the freest country in the whole world, but nearly a half of it's population want to change their president, and still nothing is changed. What a freedom.
The most important is not what you say, it's what you do. |

I don't know whether you read Chinese main political bbs,if you do you can find a lot of people in China are dissatisfied with their government.
perhaps you are a son of rich businessman in Shanhai who is studying in Germany, you are the vested interest,so you view China differently from most of Chinese ordinary people .
But according to recent survey by a Chinese state owned famous maginze called "Outlook",it said that almost all of entrepreneurs who own middle and small size of companies hate Chinese communist officials because they have to bribe communist officials to suvive, usually they bribe them about more than 10 percent of their total sales.
Maybe you are a son of big businessman,so your father 's company can get safeguard from a few top communist officials, you father only bribe a few top communist officials,he can get much benifits from the corrupt Chinese communist regime system,so do your relatives. |

I wish more citizens of the U.S.A. were familiar with their constitution. Then they could recognize how much it has been trampled by the current administration. _________________ Daniel
