when you have your own kimchi pot.......

when you are always dumpster gazing....

when you have eyes on a SECOND property....

when you drink EVERY night with dinner.....

when you accept O.T. without compensation.

when you have at least 5 friends named : Hyuk.

when you can give explicit directions to Immigration, the Hamilton Hotel, two ancient palaces, three outdoor markets and the freshest 삼곂살 in the city, and....hell, could make it a one-day group tour.

It's funny when you think you hear someone speaking English behind you, but you turn around you realize it's a Korean speaking Korean. I don't know where this fits in.

- you buy shoes based on how quickly you can slide them on and off.

- you make kids kneel when telling them off.

- you have 10 different discount cards in your wallet.

- overtime? What's overtime?

- you don't ride a bicycle because you don't want people to think you lost your driver's license.

- you bow to other white people.

...when you know how to use the search function on Dave's.

Why the hell did you search "bathroom" and "lift"?

I remembered one someone wrote about "you thoughtfully lift your foot while a bathroom adjuma mops the floor between your legs" or something close to that. I wouldn't have remembered it, but someone else used it as a sig line for a while. I miss sig lines.

Anyway, as it turns out, the thread with more jokes (and basically of the same type) was the "You know you're a Korean when..." thread (one of them-there were several of those too).

when you think it's completely normal to blow-dry your nuts in the gym changing room

when you think red-lights only apply to other people

when you think it's OK to spit, piss and puke on the street

when you raise your voice to 170dB over the most trivial arguments

when you think it's more important that you get on the subway/elevator before anyone gets off

When you start answering pointed questions (including about past events) with:

"Maybe"

----or----

"Sorry"

or

"Very busy"

I get 5 or 6 for 10,000. The honey also appreciates the Korean subtitles.
