Yes, I have a negative opinion of you, because you keep posting lists for people to do the research/work for you. First it was cities, then it was restaurant and night life, then hotels....
Really man learn to use google! Search the forum, find some blog posts of people opinions of places, try harder. At least stop doing a shotgun approach and whittle down the lists to some specifics.
And since this for recruiters here is
Skippy Stock List
This question that comes up all the times.
Can some recommend a good/best/etc recuiter? People want that special recruiter that will get them the best job. Recruiters are just one part of the process. Never mind this what I call "string question" aka "How long is a piece of string?". For one person a recruiter is fine, to another the best, and to one person they wish death upon.
Here is the easy answer - ALL OF THEM. Do not use one, use them all. One will eventually find you a job. If you really want to know a good one. When you get a name. Search the boards about them.
I have complied a list of threads of this question... The threads where found with google and two words recruiter and ______> I used best, good, recommend, and
I tried to keep to the basic question of can some body tell me what recruiter to use. A few are quite old, some a little specific to a city or area. I mainly ignored specific recruiting companies.

Thanks Skippy. I did try researching these particular recruiters and about ten others...these are the ones that I got little back from, both here and on Google.
and there ARE no hostels as far as I can see on the hosteling websites or Google for the towns listed on my other thread.
I'm new here, and I'm female, so not a "Man" in that sense, at least. |

As to hostels, well Korea does not really have the hostel (no pun) culture. There is abundant of love hotels and yogwans all around. If you go off the beaten track, you can find some cheaper ones. Typical price is 40k won and up. With some leg work you can find 30k or so. You can even negotiate for long terms. Problem is they will want to up the price on the weekends. There are a few hostels but they tend to be in touristy areas.

Click around the above website and learn some of your living options.
Then there is always jimjilbangs, but those for long term are not doable and can be sleazy.
Please learn to search the forums with Google. Add the line site:forums.eslcafe.com/korea WORDS HERE and it will help your search. This trick is much better then eslcafe's buggy search function.
Some more advice is look for some facebook groups for the areas you want to be in. Get the question to the people who do know the area?
If you want help and not sarcastic answers, some quick advice...
1) Stop doing the shotgun approach. Make it a little specific.
2) Write more, get in specific on what it is your are looking for. Short little blurb question tend to get ignored.
3) Make an effort and show people that you are doing some work, you will get it.
Back on to recruiters. As mentioned before is use ALL recruiters. Second recruiters are middlemen who do NOT work for you. I Hope ttompatz can give his stock recruiter answer.
Two more tips, check out waygook.org, you can also find some opions on recruiters and even other areas of interest.
Get a Lonely Planet Guide for Korea. Browse it. It may be dated at times, but it can easily give you some idea of where to look and proceed. |
